NHL Follow Tracker - Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Device token: Used solely to deliver push notifications about follow/unfollow activity.
• Tracked player preferences: Stored locally on your device to personalize your experience.
• Subscription status: Managed by Apple through RevenueCat; we do not store payment details.

We do NOT collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any personal identifiers.

2. How We Use Information

• To send push notifications when a tracked NHL player follows or unfollows a social media account.
• To remember your tracked players and filter preferences across sessions.
• To verify your subscription status and provide access to premium features.

3. Data Sources & Public Data

All data displayed in this app is sourced exclusively from publicly available social media profiles. No private or protected data is accessed at any point. We do not store any social media data on our servers. The app only serves publicly available data directly to users. No social media content or profile data is collected, cached, or retained on any server owned or operated by us.

4. Data Storage

• Player preferences and settings are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences.
• Follow/unfollow event data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) and does not contain any user-identifiable information.

5. Third-Party Services

• Firebase Cloud Messaging: For push notifications.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
• No analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking pixels are used.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. Period.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all preferences are stored locally, uninstalling the app removes all your data. No server-side user data exists to delete.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
